Personalized Weight Loss Coaching

I am a certified health coach here to support you your quest for sustainable weight loss.

There are no shakes, meal replacements, or quick-fix promises here, but I have helped many skeptical people lose weight in the past, and I can help you.

The core of my program is an in-depth initial coaching visit, where we cover everything. This lasts 90-120 minutes. You will leave this visit with a plan in place for yourself.

 

But change is hard, right? To support you through this process, we will have weekly 15-30 minute follow-up visits as well as check-ins in between.


I ask all clients for a 3 month commitment once they are sure they want to work with me. This is because it takes time to develop new habits, and sometimes it can take time to figure out exactly what your body needs for sustainable weight loss.

After 3 months, continued health coaching is encouraged to help you lose more weight and/or as you move into the weight maintenance phase. I am here to support you through that, too!

My Philosophy

  • You don’t have to lose weight. You are a beautiful, worthy human just the way you are.

 

  • However, there are many health problems related to excess weight. That means there are many health problems that will improve with weight loss. If you have developed any of these health problems (or have concerns about developing them in the future), I can help you.

 

  • You may have tried and been unable to lose weight in the past or lost weight and then regained it, but you are not a failure. This is just physiology. There is hope!

 

  • You are most likely to be successful with weight loss if you take a multi-pronged approach that includes: a change in eating habits, exercise, changes in your daily habits, accountability and support. This will look different for every person. Some people may benefit from medication prescribed by their medical providers, and I support that approach. I believe strongly that diet and exercise plans need to be individualized.

 

  • Weight loss is best achieved and maintained with accountability to yourself and at least one other person; therefore, I like to check in with people once a week for at least three months, and I strongly encourage you to log your food.

 

  • You can absolutely achieve long-term weight loss. We will work together to find an approach that will work for you. I will be here to help you every step of the way.
